‘Poon Choi’ is a popular shared dish in Hong Kong. It was commissioned as one of three pieces (Mono no Aware 5 and also Pine Tree Bonsai) to create limited edition prints for Design Shanghai 2020. The painting is reminiscent of the Tub o’ Life series. I was created with pours and acrylic skins and many translucent layers and effects. It is float-framed in Douglas Fir and comes ready to hang.
